Our Supports
We provide non‑clinical, participant‑led supports that focus on practical assistance, community involvement, and everyday independence.

Supports are shaped around the participant’s goals, preferences, and routines, with an emphasis on clear communication, consistency, and comfort. We take the time to understand what matters to each participant and tailor supports accordingly, ensuring they feel involved, respected, and supported in a way that fits naturally into their day‑to‑day life.

Supports We Offer
Woodlyn Support offers personalised supports for participants who are self-managed or plan-managed, including:

Assistance with Daily Living
Support with everyday tasks to help participants manage their day independently, providing practical assistance that helps maintain routines, build confidence, and promote independence, such as:

-
Light household tasks
-
Meal preparation support
-
Establishing routines
-
General day‑to‑day assistance

Transport to Activities & Appointments
We offer transport support as part of community participation, helping participants attend activities, appointments, and outings as part of their everyday support.

At this time, we do not operate hoist-equipped vehicles. Our transport supports are best suited to participants with independent or low mobility needs.

Social & Community Participation
We support participants to access the community and take part in activities that interest them, at their own pace.

Activities are participant-led and may include beach or park visits, cafés and local outings, casual sport, walking tracks, or community events.

Support can be active or low-key - sometimes it’s simply getting out, doing something enjoyable, and building confidence over time.

Capacity Building & Skill Development
Supports may include assisting participants to implement strategies and plans developed by allied health or other qualified professionals. These may include:
-
Physiotherapists: supporting exercises and mobility strategies
-
Occupational Therapists: assisting with daily living skills and routines
-
Speech Pathologists: supporting communication and social skills
-
Psychologists / Counsellors: assisting with emotional regulation strategies
-
Behaviour Support Practitioners: supporting positive behaviour strategies
